    • GDI or Global Domains International is a place where you can easily build a customized site as well as market their affiliate program.  When you are ready to upgrade it is only $10 / mo which includes your own domain name.  Click Here is toview MINE.
    • Yola is another good place to build your own web presence.  They allow you up to 5 different sites and it is FREE to sign up.  You will have a unique and custom website in only hours.  You can upgrade to your own domain name if you wish, or point an existing domain name to the site you build at Yola.  Yola is growing fast, so if this appeals to you, get your sites NOW, I got mine (site relocated and out of date but serves as an example)!.
    • Want a little more?  Check out the FREE service at Weebly.  Here is a site I build a few months ago, just to try out their features.  Click Here to check it out, or Click HERE to go to WEEBLY and get your own site.
    • Looking for a way to build a FLASH site?  Check Out WIX.  I noticed today (1/12/2011) that the site loads a bit slowly, but that could be my connection and the fact that I have a dozen windows open.  I have moved my Wix site, but HERE is the redirect page I replaced it with.  The site features drag and frop and WYSIWYG design options.  And it is FREE. Click HERE to check it out.
    • YES!  You can build a unique, quality website for FREE.  There are literally hundreds of available options.  You may also want to check with your Internet provider.  Some companies offer FREE webspace so you can build a site on their servers.
  • What is WYSIWYG?
    • WYSIWYG is the acronym for What You See Is What You Get.  It is used to describe website editing software, for the most part, but it also applies to software.  MSWord for example provides WYSIWYG editing.
  • Why do you give all this information, articles and other stuff away for FREE?
    • I’m glad you asked.  I have been working on-line for a very long time.  In fact, the first website I build (BB’s Respite) went live when there were less than 500 sites on-line.  I am a teacher and value the idea that knowledge should be shared.  I have grown progressively disgusted with all the HYPE and SCAMS, the SPAM filling my email accounts, and generally with the direction the Internet has taken.  ’Back in the Day’ the Internet was a safe place to find the information you needed.  Today it has become one big advertising portal.  But,advertising is what keeps it alive.  I wanted to provide some of that good old fashioned service that I miss.  This is why I will NEVER try to con you into signing up for something, Never try to coerce you into buying something, and NEVER Ever fill your email accounts with trash. The content of all my websites is FREE to view, and  FREE to use (just provide a link back). I do float advertisements on my sites.  I do have products to sell (my books primarily) and I also do affiliate marketing – with a difference.  If you wish to support my efforts, I will continue to trust that you will do so of your own will, and not because I made outrageous promises.  Buy purchasing any of my books or affiliate products you are helping me to continue bringing you information you can actually use.
  • Do you accept guest posts?
    • Yes!  You can post a short response (400 – 1000 words) to any related post you find on any of my sites.  You can join the site and submit your posts.  Or, you can send me your posts in an email and I will post them for you.  Be sure to include no more than two (2) live links in your article’s  author’s box .  Please limit your author’s bio to 150 words.
  • What are these ‘Rising Stars’ you keep posting?
    • Rising Stars are affiliate programs or services that have been growing over the past weeks.  This means that the affiliates for these programs are making sales!  I will also be featuring Falling Stars in the near future.  You can join the rising stars to help build your affiliate business, if you wish.  You will also be able to see which affiliate programs and services seem to have run their course and lessen your efforts on these sinking ships.
