Remember history so as not to repeat it.

A few years ago my mother sat riveted to the TV. She was watching a speech of the latest presidential candidate, and she was crying. She said the words were so familiar, the promises so compelling, just like when she was a child….in post WWI Germany.  Lest we forget, Hitler was ELECTED to power.
